Wedding for Oct. 7

Susan Michelle Coffman and Vincent Lee Harrington were married Aug. 7, in Plainfield. Dr. David Rosen officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Karen Coffman of Ladoga, and the granddaughter of Skeet and Phyllis Allen, Helen and the late Nick Coffman all of Thorntown. She graduated from Southmont Jr.-Sr. High School in 1990. She graduated from Indiana State University in 2000, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She then graduated from IUPUI in 2002, with a master’s degree in social work. The bride currently works as a therapist.

The groom is the son of Barbara Harrington of Charleston, S.C., and Stella Harrington of Louisville, Ky. and the late Willie Harrington. He is the grandson of Mrs. Susie Carter of New Albany. He graduated from North Central High School in 1984. He graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 1994, with bachelor’s degrees in social work and psychology. Groom is currently employed as a military advisor.

The bride wore maternal grandmother’s diamond earrings and carried maternal greatgrandmother’s handkerchief in bouquet

The matron of honor was Julie Swick of Crawfordsville, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Allyson Gardner of Avon, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Taylor Harrington and Jordan Harrington, both of Indianapolis, daughters of the groom. Flower girl was Kendra Swick of Crawfordsville, niece of the bride.

The best man was Eric Moncrief of Indianapolis. The groomsmen were John Brown and Andy Brown, friends of the groom, and Shelton Harrington, brother of the groom, all of Indianapolis.

Ushers were Shelton Harrington, Indianapolis, brother of the groom, and Jason Swick, Crawfordsville, brother-in-law of the bride.

Jaclyn Floyd, Lafayette, cousin of the bride, and Duane Harrington, New Albany, brother of the groom, received gifts and registered guests.

Music was provided by pianist Teresa O’Connell of Lebanon, and soloist Julie Swick, Crawfordsville, sister of the bride.

Flowers were done by Milligans in Crawfordsville and photography was by Sarah Bradley.

Tami Mussche of Luminated Accents decorated for the cermony and reception, and the cakee was created by Lissa Mason of Ladoga. DJ was Sean Marks of Fishers.

The groom’s mother played host to the rehersal dinner at Cracker Barrell in Plainfield. The bride’s parents played host to the wedding reception dinner/dance at Prino Banquet and Conference Facility in Plainfield.

Hostessess for the prenuptial shower were Mary Kay Wetli, Lissa Mason, Sandy Keck, Jan Vice, Mary Lou Wilson and Melanie Duncan.

After a honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple returned home to Indianapolis.
