Beck 60th

Bill and Louise (Schooler) Beck of Jamestown, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Cochran’s Banquet Hall, 29 Main St., in Jamestown. The family invites all friends and relatives to share in the celebration and request that gifts be omitted.
The couple married June 4, 1948, at their rural home near Old Union Church in Jamestown, with the Rev. Wilbur Sharp officiating.
Bill farmed and was owner and operater of Beck Feed and Grain Co. in Advance until he retired in 1992. He is a member of the Lebanon Elks Club. Louise is a homemaker and worked with her husband as secretary/treasurer of their grain business, until she retired in 1992.
Both are members of Advance Community Christian Church and are lifelong residents of Boone County. They spend their winters in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Beck’s children are Lynn (Bill) Casey of Jamestown, and Jerry (Peggy) Beck of Jamestown. Their grandchildren are Renee Casey of Indianapolis and Christopher (Danielle) Beck of Flora.
