Dennis 50th

— James Donald Dennis and Linda Louis Kouns of Advance will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday.
James married Linda Kouns on June 1, 1958, in Max, with the Rev. Charles Hill from the Methodist Church of Advance officiating.
They have three daughters and two sons, and James has one son. The children are Robin (Kirt) Rose and Deb Dennis, both of Missouri; Janet (Steve) Burtner and John (Helen) Dennis, both of Lebanon; Tracy (Cindy) Dennis, of Kater, and Danny Ray (Barb) Groce, of Anderson. They have 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, with four great-grandchildren due this year.
James retired from Reynolds & Reynolds in 1995. Linda retired from Western Boone High School in 2002. The couple has lived most of their lives in Boone County. They lived a short time in Albuquerque, N.M., while James was in the U.S. Army.
