Clifford A. and Nancy (Piety) Beesley of Thorntown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday with an open house at the Thorntown United Methodist Church, 201 N. Market St., Thorntown from 2 to 4 p.m.
The couple married Aug. 3, 1958, at the home of the bride’s parents in Indianapolis. The Rev. Robert Sievers officiated.
Cliff is retired from the Thorntown Telephone Company and Nancy is a retired registered nurse. The couple remains very active in their volunteer work in the community and church.
The couple are the parents of Cindy Aguirre and husband Manuel of Jamestown, Cathy Acton and husband Charlie of Thorntown, and Chad Beesley of St. Pete Beach, Florida. They are the grandparents of Tyler and Allie Aguirre of Jamestown.
In lieu of cards or gifts, the couple requests a donation of non-perishable food items be made for the Fletcher Place food pantry.
