Johnson 70th

— Marion and Mary Johnson of Brownsburg will observe their 70th wedding anniversary next month. They were married in Fayette on Dec. 24, 1937. They will celebrate with an open house hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 23, in The Meadows Dining Room, at entrance 4, 2 East Tilden, Brownsburg.
Mrs. Johnson is a retired farm wife, Sunday school teacher and home ec. club member. Mr. Johnson is a retired farmer.
Their children are Janet (Jerry) Owen, who travel in their Bluebird after retirement from Lumberton, N.C., Donna (Wayne) Bostic of Phoenix, Ariz., Max (Doris) Johnson of Greensburg, Nancy (Tim) Nelson of Hobart and Marvin (Anne) Johnson of Snohomish, Wash. They also have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
