Kernodle 45th

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kernodle, of Savannah, Ga., will celebrate 45 years of marriage on Aug. 26, 2012.

Bob and the former Marilyn Brown were married Aug. 26, 1967, in Jamestown.

They have one son, Mathew (Chrissy), and two grandchildren, Camron and Ashley, all of Savannah.

In celebration, their family is requesting cards be sent to: 114 Majestic Oaks, Savannah, GA 31406.

Vansickle 50th

Mr. and Mrs. John Vansickle, of Waynetown, will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Aug. 25, 2012.

John and the former Beverly Riley were married in 1962 near Lebanon by the Rev. Raymond Duff.

The couple’s children are Shelly Pruett of Waynetown, Donna (Bruce) Harrison of Crawfordsville, and Dianna (Brian) Verhey of Waynetown. They have four grandchildren, Jeremy Pruett, Kyle and Katie Harrison, and Derrick Verhey. They also have three great-grandchildren.

John retired from Local No. 18 as an insulator, and Beverly is a retired beautician.

Shoemaker 25th

Tim and Sherri Shoemaker, of Lebanon, will celebrate 25 years of marriage on Aug. 29, 2012.

The Shoemakers were married Aug. 29, 1987.

Mr. Shoemaker works at the Lebanon Street Department and Mrs. Shoemaker works at United Stationers in Indianapolis.
