Sloan 50th

— Larry and Mary Sloan are pleased to announce their golden wedding anniversary.

They were married by the Rev. Raymond Duff on June 23, 1963, at Milledgeville United Methodist Church. An open house to celebrate their anniversary will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. this Sunday at Milledgeville United Methodist Church. The couple requests no gifts.

Larry retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. Mary, a homemaker, also spent 12 years working as a bus driver for the Lebanon Community School Corporation. In addition, they are both retired from farming.

Larry and Mary are the parents of Brad (Lisa) Sloan of Lebanon and Vickie (Andy) Grinstead of rural Whitestown. They are grandparents of Danielle (BJ) Denning of Brownsburg; Matthew Sloan of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; Jacob Sloan of rural Lebanon; Grace, Audrey and Ruthie Sloan, all of Lebanon; and Lindsey and Brock Grinstead of rural Whitestown. They are also great-grandparents of Will, Wyatt, Jonah and Gavin Denning, all of Brownsburg.
