Richard and Doris (Ridge) Jones, of Lebanon, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Lebanon Christian Church, 610 W. 250 N, Lebanon, in the Student Center. Their daughter and her family will host the event.
The Joneses were married June 6, 1964, at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Lebanon.
They have one daughter, Heather (Adam) Roberts, and two grandchildren, Eli Pemberton and Caden Roberts, all of Lebanon.
Mr. Jones works as a courier for Witham Health Services. He retired from Central Indiana Supply Company in 2009, after working there for 43 years.
Mrs. Jones works as a seamstress. She retired in 2010 from Shepard Poorman Communications.
She is a member of the Hoosier Heritage Quilt Guild, and the couple both belong to a card club that meets monthly. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Jones is a lifelong resident of Lebanon. Mr. Jones was born in Kentucky and raised in the Terhune/Sheridan area. He moved to Lebanon after marriage.
