Copeland 50th

Carter and Esther Copeland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at their residence. The Copelands were married Feb. 2, 1963, at the Kilmore Methodist Church. The Rev. James Copeland officiated. The couple’s children are Kevin (Karen) Copeland of Lebanon, Angie (Tim) Nicley of Lebanon and Sherry (Matt) Crousore of Kokomo. They have nine grandchildren. Mr. Copeland worked at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, retiring after 43 years. Mrs. Copeland loved working as a homemaker and full-time mom. Together the couple enjoys traveling with their camping club, attending their grandkids' school events and playing cards with their friends. Family and friends are invited to stop by the open house and visit with the Copelands as they celebrate.
