McCoy 50th

Jack and Carolyn McCoy will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in the Annex Building at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds. The McCoys were married on Nov. 5, 1963, at the Methodist Church in Thorntown. The Rev. Herman McCoy and the Rev. Robert Hayden officiated the ceremony. Their children are Jay (Laura) McCoy and Bart (Jayne) McCoy, all of Thorntown, and Ken (Danielle) McCoy of Brownsburg. They have six grandchildren. Jack worked at the Farm Bureau — Co-Alliance for 35 years, and is now retired. Carolyn has her own business, Carolyn's Pet Grooming, in Thorntown. Together the couple enjoy riding their Honda Goldwing and are members of the GWRRA local Chapter 2A in Lebanon. They enjoy camping at Old Mill Run Campground, hunting, fishing and family activities. Family and friends are invited to stop by the open house and celebrate with the McCoy family.
