Whitestown defeats reorganization; Burgess, Stein win Zionsville school board races

Boone County — Click here for election results. With all of the Eagle and Union precincts reporting, the Zionsville Community Schools board of trustee races were split. Incumbent Jane Burgess won the Eagle seat with 55 percent of the vote, incumbent Rob Wingerter lost the Union seat to challenger Joe Stein 46 percent to 54 percent. The public question in Whitestown to combine Worth Township with the town has been defeated 2-1.
