Abbi and Ryan Achterberg of Lebanon the birth of their son, Evan Charles Achterberg, on Oct. 3, 2008, in Indianapolis. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. Evan is the couple’s first child.

Maternal grandparents are Jane and Joe Harrison of Lebanon.

Paternal grandparents are Marilyn and Jeff Achterberg of Columbus.



Cooper Mathew Lowe

Samantha Lowe of Jamestown and Mathew Osborne of Amboy announce the birth of their son, Cooper Mathew Lowe, on Oct. 14, 2008, at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon. He weighed 4 pounds, 3 ounces. Cooper is the couple’s first child.

Maternal grandparents are Robin and Jim Lowe of Jamestown. Maternal great-grandfather is Jim Stephens of Brownsburg.

Paternal grandparents are Lou Ann and David Sharp of Amboy. Paternal great-grandparents are George Eckrote of Berne and Sandra Hussman.



Brooklyn Re’Lynn Merrill

Sara and Larry Merrill of Lebanon announce the birth of their daughter, Brooklyn Re’Lynn Merrill, on Oct. 14, 2008, at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Brooklyn was welcomed home by siblings, Jasmine, 6, and Trenton, 1.

Maternal grandparents are Robert Tyree and Peter and Traci Erickson, all of Thorntown. Maternal great-grandparents are Starlyn Tyree of Colfax and the late Cleatus Tyree, Beverly Tyree of Frankfort and Henry and Sharon Lollar of Crawfordsville.

Paternal grandparents are Cindy Burruss of Lebanon, Charles “Tim” Merrill of Noblesville and Dennie and Scott Nirider of Thorntown. Paternal great-grandparent was the late Hutoka Merrill.
