VIDEO: Lebanon woman draws for $10,000 cash in Reporter contest

Lebanon — Bonnie Bowman of Lebanon was selected from thousands of entries to try and win $10,000 in The Lebanon Reporter's 2010 Christmas Cash Contest.

Entry forms were published in the newspaper, and contestants could enter at all 24 local merchants who participated. A winner was chosen from each of the 24 businesses, and Bowman was picked to try for the $10,000 cash.

"I entered three times at all the locations," Bowman said Wednesday. To win the money, Bowman needed to pull the one envelope out of 100 that contained the grand prize ticket.

Bowman wasn't sure what she would do if she won the money during the drawing at The Reporter office Wednesday. Unfortunately, her choice read, "Better luck next time."

But she didn't go home empty-handed. She received a 22-inch flatscreen TV as a consolation prize.

"All right, thank you," Bowman said.

Bowman's winning entry was drawn from The Depot. Other participating merchants and their winners were Debbie Davis, Affordable Motors; Charlotte Kidd, Canterbury House Apartments; Pam Anderson, Cowan Drugs; Ernest Tucker, Deakins Automotive; Terry Dickerson, Ellis Jewelers; Teresa J. McClain, Farris BP; Mary Emrick, Hawks Custom Floors; Sue Fields, Home National Bank (Lebanon); Yvonne A. McCall, Home National Bank (Thorntown); David Budd, Jaggers; Carroll Randle, Jerry's Feed and Salt; Teresa Wethington, K&R Hogwild BBQ; Karen French, Kise Estates Apartments; Stephen Isenhower, Kramer Lumber; Julie Cupka, The Lebanon Reporter; Michael Tyree, Milky Way; Darryl Cain, Net-Tec Computers; Helen Ruse, Parkside Pharmacy; Karen Andrew, Pizza Hut; Ann Rohdy, Pomp's Tire; Sam Shepherd, Sears; Rachel Reagan, Special Touch Photography; Barbara Nixon, Speck's Pet Supply; Sally Shepherd, Superior Auto.
