— Chuck and Peggy Carson of Thorntown announce the engagement of their daughter, Diana Carson, to Troy Fields of Lebanon. He is the son of Michelle Fields of Lebanon and Steve Fields of Westfield.
The bride-elect graduated from Western Boone High School in 2001 and received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from IUPUI in 2005. She is currently teaching second grade in Indianapolis. The groom-elect is also a 2001 Western Boone graduate. He owns a commercial painting and wallcovering business and is a licensed real estate agent with Carpenter Realtors in Lebanon.
The couple is planning a beach wedding for June 12 in Siesta Key, Fla.
