Hoffman — Morton

— Ritchie and Wanda Hoffman of Bloomington announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Christa Michelle Hoffman of Greenwood to Kevin Duff Morton of Lebanon. He is the son of George and Nancy Morton of Lebanon.
The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Edgewood High School in Ellettsville. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University in 2000 and a master’s degree in education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority at Indiana University, a member of Indiana State Teachers’ Association, the National Education Association and the vice president of membership for the United Teachers’ Association of Center Grove.
She is an elementary teacher at Center Grove Schools in Greenwood.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Lebanon High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University in 1999, where he was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity. He has been a member and the treasurer of Farm Bureau, Young Farmers, Boone County, and a past member and former deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Lebanon.
He is a farmer in Boone County.
The couple will wed at 11 a.m. June 21, 2008, at the Zionsville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Pat Smith officiating.
