Myers — Adams

Dick and Margie Myers of rural Jamestown are pleased to announce the engagement and future wedding of their daughter, Krista Michelle Myers, to John Wesley Adams III. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Adams Jr., of Providence Forge, Va.

The bride-to-be graduated from Western Boone High School, Vincennes University and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries 1st Basic Training Academy. She works as a Virginia Conservation Police Officer.

The future groom graduated from York Academy. He is employed by the Virginia Marine Police Special Investigative Division.

The couple is planning a wedding for June 13, 2009, at the home of her parents.
