Boggs - Heaviland

Janet Pickering of Lebanon announces the engagement of her daughter, Rachel Boggs of Indianapolis, to Jason Heaviland. He is the son of Todd and Sharon Harpold of Thorntown. The bride-to-be’s father was the late Lawrence Boggs.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, with a degree in elementary and special education. She works as a special education teacher.

The groom-to-be graduated from Ivy Tech in web design and works as a web designer.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 10, 2011.

 

Hernandez — Woodard

Becky and Michael Harder of Thorntown and Lebanon are proud to announce the engagement of their grandson, Michael Lee Woodard of Ft. Sill, Okla., to Marisela Hernandez of Lebanon.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gloria Torres of Lebanon. She is a 2010 graduate of Lebanon High School and is currently employed at CNH.

The groom-to-be is the son of Rickie Woodard of Thorntown and is a 2010 graduate of Western Boone High School. He is currently a member of the U.S. Army and is stationed at Ft. Sill. He is expected to be deployed to S. Korea upon completion of AIT (advanced individual training).

A wedding is planned for the spring of 2013.
