Engagements for May 13, 2013

— Durham — Batts

Joe and Jody Durham, of Lebanon, announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Ann Durham, to Scott Allen Batts. He is the son of Steven and Debra Batts, of Frankfort.

The bride-to-be graduated from Western Boone High School in 2006. She received her degree from Ivy Tech in 2012. She is a registered nurse at Witham Memorial Hospital.

The groom-to-be graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 2006. He received his degree from Purdue University in 2010. He is a farmer and auctioneer for Scott Batts Auctioneering.

The couple is planning a wedding for May 25, 2013, at Mechanicsburg Christian Church. Brent James will officiate.

Ping — Williams

Sharla and Joe Ping of Franklin, formerly of Zionsville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Ping, to Patrick Williams. He is the son of Margaret and Dennis A. Williams of Lebanon.

The bride-to-be graduated from Zionsville High School in 2006. She received her degree in psychology from Ball State University in 2010. She currently works full time at The Buckle in Greenwood. She also is a full-time student at IUPUI in the Kelley School of Business, working toward a degree in marketing and informatics.

The groom-to-be graduated from Lebanon High School in 2001. He graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2006 with a double degree in criminal justice and communications. He currently works as an A/R analyst for Simon Property Group in Indianapolis. He also works part time at Blue Mile in Greenwood.

The couple is planning a wedding for Sept. 21, 2013, at The Rathskeller in Indianapolis. Gene Gosewehr, the groom’s childhood friend, will officiate.
