Three Lebanon teenagers are under arrest after a probation officer found them with more than six pounds of marijuana in a home on Countryside Drive Thursday.
About 100 ounces of marijuana, along with scales, paraphernalia and supplies for packaging the drug were confiscated, said Lebanon Police Dept. Lt. Brent Wheat.
Two 17-year-old males were taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and dealing in marijuana, Wheat said in a press release.
Those charges would be felonies if the juveniles are waived into adult court.
A male visitor, 17, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana.
All three were taken to juvenile holding facilities.
A probation officer’s visit to the home led to the arrest, Wheat said.
Boone County Probation Officer Donna Hankins had gone to the home to conduct a routine drug screen on one of the teenagers. With her was off-duty Lebanon Police Officer Aaron Aliter, who is also a probation department field officer.
