Collision claims life of Waynetown woman

By Sarah Lang/The Lebanon Reporter

Dover A head-on collision with a semi left a Waynetown woman dead Tuesday afternoon on Indiana 32.

Bonnie J. Goff, 67, was driving a silver 2006 Ford Escape westbound on Ind. 32 in the 4700 block when at around 2:38 p.m., she crossed the center line for an unknown reason, said Boone County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Brian Stevenson. A white International semi pulling a trailer of 25,000 pounds of dry foods was traveling eastbound on Ind. 32.

“At the last minute, she attempted to avoid the semi,” Stevenson said, “but she couldn’t and hit the semi head on.”
