Whitestown fields chosen for TV pilot scene location

Whitestown — An independent filmmaker and his crew will use four locations in rural Whitestown Wednesday to film scenes for a proposed TV series.

Steve Marra told the Boone County Commissioners Monday that he chose the area east of CR 650 E along E. 400 S, S. 700 E and E. 425 S to shoot six scenes for his “Neon Cornfield” project because, “I’ve never seen so much corn in all my life.”
