Lebanon man killed in rural weekend crash

Emery Bailey, 77, Lebanon, died Saturday morning, in a crash on U.S. 421.

According to a Boone County Sheriff’s Office report, Bailey was driving a 2003 Dodge pickup truck eastbound on County Road 100 North and apparently failed to stop at the road’s posted intersection with the highway. The pickup collided with a semi southbound on U.S. 421, driven by Nicholas Berghorst, 32, of Holland, Mich.
