Tax rate increase on county agenda

An increase in the county’s Cumulative Capital Development Fund will be considered by the Boone County Commissioners Monday. The new amount would be 3 cents on every $100 of a property’s assessed valuation, if an enacting ordinance is approved, up from the current 1.27 cents rate. The new amount would appear on tax bills payable next year. For more of the story, see Friday's Lebanon Reporter.
