Old basement creates new pool problems

The discovery of an old basement on the construction site of the new Lebanon Memorial Park pool has delayed work and created additional costs that Parks Director John Messenger was not anticipating.

 

“I was hoping it wouldn’t be as bad as it is, but we now have to get an excavator in there,” he told the Lebanon Board of Works Monday. “It’s going to cost some additional money.”
