If Boone County’s Election Board doesn’t adopt a vote center plan in time for the November election, voters may not see the concept in place before 2018. The board includes county clerk Penny Bogan; Republican Tom Easterday, and Democrat Jim Whelan.
Vote centers are sites where voters from any precinct can go to cast ballots. Every ballot for every precinct would be available at every vote center computer terminal.
