The Lebanon City Council tied up some loose ends this week meeting, moving some money around to finish up its end-of-the-year business.
The first resolution passed Wednesday was for additional appropriations. There was a $30,000 shortfall for fuel costs for the city’s police and fire departments, Clerk/Treasurer Tonya Thayer said. And $10,000 is needed for camera equipment for the Lebanon Police Department, $1,500 for Lebanon Fire Department inspection equipment, and $1,500 for LFD turnout gear. The total is $43,000. The council decided to appropriate the money from the city general fund, after a motion to take it from the food and beverage fund died on the floor.
