Streets to close for repaving

Boone County —

Residents on Clifford Court, Cedars Court, Lafayette Court and County Road 250 North between Witt Road and Indiana 39, will have to park elsewhere during a preventive maintenance resurfacing project on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.

Chris Oakes of Pavement Solutions, Inc., will contact those affected a day before work begins on any of the streets, Lebanon Street Superintendent Larry Lee said. Oakes will leave his phone number with residents.

Affected areas will be closed to traffic for at least four hours, weather permitting, while a “microsurface” layer is laid on the streets.

Lee said that the current schedule calls for Lafayette and Cedars courts to be paved on Tuesday; those residents will be allowed to park on Clifford Court, or in front of the Lebanon Street Department, 1301 Lafayette Avenue.

Clifford Court’s repaving will be Wednesday, with residents allowed to park on Lafayette Court, Cedars Court or at the street department.

The CR 250 N repaving will be Wednesday and Thursday, Lee said.
