Health initiative reaches milestone

Boone County — A healthy-lifestyle program for un- and under-insured women has become so successful, it’s in need of financial assistance.

The Health Education, Resources, and Services for Her program operated by the Boone County Community Clinic has exceeded expectations, and now needs financial support to add participants.

“We’re constantly growing,” said Donald Garrett, the clinic’s grant and development manager and coordinator of the H.E.R.S. for Her project.
