Lebanon — Bond for a man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl at least four times was set at $5 million cash Wednesday, after he allegedly violated terms of his previous bond.

Joseph S. Woodruff, 19, 600 block of North Lebanon Street, was arrested Oct. 2 on a class B felony charge of child molesting following an investigation by Lebanon Police Det. Tony Bayles.

The arrest followed an Sept. 26 interview of the victim at the Boone County Child Advocacy Center, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Boone Superior Court I. The victim said the relationship began in late June 2012.

Woodruff posted $25,000 bond on Oct. 4, court records show. At an initial hearing on Oct. 9, Woodruff entered a preliminary plea of not guilty; he was ordered to have no contact with the victim after he posted bond.

Court records show that Woodruff was given the court’s permission to travel to Florida between Oct. 20 and 28, with orders to report to his attorney and to the bondsman not later than Oct. 29.
