LHS works to build second well for African community

Lebanon High School students experienced two big things Friday morning. They met a Hollywood star. And they were told they had forever changed the lives of an entire community.

Allie Gonino, a singer and former star of “The Lying Game” on ABC Family, visited LHS Friday to share about her passion for The Thirst Project. The not-for-profit organization works to raise money to build fresh-water wells for communities around the world, where people do not have access to clean water. Gonino has been involved in the organization ever since being invited to a Thirst Project event by a co-star from “The Lying Game.”
