Community votes to win the Arc a new van

When Marcia Clutter came across a contest to win a new Toyota vehicle for the Arc of Greater Boone County, she didn't think much of it. Sure, the Arc could use a new vehicle, but there were only a few days left to apply, and she didn't think they had much of a chance to win a national contest. She took it to Executive Director Brent Cardin, who said it would be fantastic to win a new van, if Clutter had the time to submit the application. So she thought about it — did she have the time? Clutter ended up submitting the Arc into the contest, just for practice. She figured it would help her submit a better application next year, when they really might have a shot at winning.
