Boone County Toy Drive launches 36th campaign

Nearly 1,400 children received presents through the Boone County Toy Drive last year, and organizer Myrtle Bailey expects that number to grow this year. The 36th toy drive, which collects toys, food and gifts for children up to age 12, opened its 2013 campaign Monday. “Without Boone County’s support and generosity, the toy drive would not be a success,” Bailey said.
