Mom, son arrested on drug charges

Three people, including a mother and her son, have been arrested on charges they were in possession of methamphetamine at a home within 1,000 feet of the Lebanon Boys & Girls Club. Sally Jane Alford, 45, Matthew T. Blume, 51, and Gerald Lee Cole, 27, were arrested on Nov. 7 in a home at 518 W. South St., after Lebanon Police, assisting the Boone County Probation Department, saw what they believed was reason to obtain a search warrant for illicit drugs.
