Boone County battles spring flooding

Forty years after the biggest tornado outbreak in the nation’s history, Boone County residents were dealing with another weather problem.

Thunderstorms that Thursday morning brought hail and flooding rain to Boone County, falling on already-saturated soil, shoved some streams out of their banks and caused sewage backups in several Lebanon homes.
