Schools respond to state-released teacher grades

---- — Information released Monday from the Indiana Department of Education reported that 26.3 percent of teachers in Boone County are highly effective instructors.

These teacher grades placed all Indiana teachers into categories: highly effective, effective, improvement necessary or ineffective. It is the first year this teacher evaluation data has been released, and its release is now mandated by state law.
