---- — Kassie Frazier became executive director of the Boone County Child Advocacy Center, Inc., in July. She’s still catching her breath. Named to replace Kamilla Aeschleman, the CAC’s first executive director, Frazier is coordinating the center’s forensic interviews, fundraising events, helping the parents of victims find the counseling resources they and their children need — all while working to complete a master’s degree in social work. Born and raised in Lebanon, Frazier graduated from Lebanon High School in 1997. She graduated IUPUI in 2001 with a bachelor’s in social work, earned Indiana certification as a licensed social worker, then worked at the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon for a decade. She has one year of study at IUPUI for her master’s in social work. An experience in high school, doing a community project, convinced her she’d found her career, Frazier said.
