Woman wants Grant Street bridge right-of-way contract renegotiated

Completion of a new Grant Street bridge over Prairie Creek is expected within a month, but legal work involving the structure may last longer.

The bridge, just north of East Washington Street, is being replaced by Boone County because the decking has deteriorated. Rick Carney, county highway superintendent, had said the bridge appeared to be in better condition than it was because the city of Lebanon had regularly paved the deck surface.
