Lucky number

Lebanon — Boone County Clerk Penny Bogan pronounces Shawn and Kathleen Hatcher, Lebanon, husband and wife at noon Wednesday at the Boone County Courthouse. The Hatchers were among eight couples who took advantage of the date — 12/1212 — to marry or renew their vows, Bogan said. It was his idea although, “We were talking about it,” Hatcher said. “He sort of just asked me and we got rings,” she said. The couple, who had been dating since June, plan to have a traditional ceremony next year.
