Lebanon Community School Corporation test results from the spring are not as good as the corporation was hoping for, said Will Pullins, corporation director of assessment, at Tuesday’s board meeting.
Pullins shared with the board an overview of recent assessment results, including IREAD, ISTEP-plus, and end of course assessments. The IREAD results from the spring (IREAD is a state reading test given to all third-graders) were a little disappointing, Pullins said. Three of the four elementary schools had scores lower than last year. Perry-Worth was the only school to increase the percentage of students passing, from 90.6 percent in 2012 to 94.3 percent this year.
