Local woman chosen for Today’s ambush makeover

Lebanon — Cathy Whitlatch just wanted to get close enough to see some of The Today Show celebrities when she and her husband Rick and daughter Heather squeezed through the crowd Thursday morning at the show’s set in New York City. The Lebanon resident and her family were on a vacation.

She never dreamed that she would not only get to meet the celebrities, but she’d leave looking like a new woman.

Whitlatch was selected out of the crowd for a special Mother’s Day edition of Today’s ambush makeover. They whisked her backstage to give her a new haircut and color, a fresh makeup look and a new outfit that she got to take home.
