Boone County —
Reports of damage from Boone County’s worst flooding in more than a half-century will help state officials determine whether to seek federal disaster assistance.
“We’ve had about eight calls from people who are reporting damage,” said Rachel Hanson, Boone County Emergency Management Agency administrative assistant.
“It’s anything from four feet of water in the basement, to 20 inches of water on the first floor,” Hanson said at mid-afternoon Monday. “I’m sure there are a lot more out there.
