County residents turn out to help restaurant attempt world record

Steak ‘n Shakes across the country celebrated the company's 80th birthday on June 7 by attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the most people singing at one time. This is a record that required the participation of all Steak 'n Shakes around the country, including the Lebanon location.

On what would already be considered a busy day, the Lebanon Steak 'n Shake became packed with participants hungry for both food and the record. Customers gathered at the front of the store, ready to join in on the dot. The result was a joyous "Happy Birthday to You" sing-along. Frequent customer Jim McConnaha wasn’t surprised by the number of participants. But it wasn't the attempt at the record that had brought him to the restaurant that day.
