Fire temporarily closes Lebanon Kroger

Authorities are crediting quick thinking and fast action by Lebanon Kroger workers for helping prevent any injuries after a fire broke out in the rear of the grocery store Tuesday evening.

Lebanon Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Ben Phelps said the report of the fire was made at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday. LPD officers arrived within 3 to 4 minutes, to find the building filled with smoke and the 20 to 30 workers and customers who had been inside already out of the building when police arrived.
