---- — A Lebanon Police reserve officer was injured in a two-car crash at 1:56 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South and West streets. Michael Wines, who became one of LPD’s reserves last winter, was taken to Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, with non-life threatening injuries, said Lebanon Police Lt. Brent Wheat. Wines was the passenger in an LPD Crown Victoria being driven by Officer Justin Fuston, Wheat said. They were en route to a non-emergency call of a dog reported locked in a car, going west on South Street, when a Ford Focus, driven by a delivery person for Cowan’s Pharmacy, northbound on West Street, pulled in front of the police car, Wheat said. The police did not have lights or sirens on. See Saturday's Lebanon Reporter for more on this story.
