Lebanon to resurface six streets next week

A contractor will begin resurfacing six streets in Lebanon on Monday, in a project expected to last four days, weather permitting.Pavement Solutions, Inc., will use a “micro-surface” technique for the project, Street Superintendent Larry Lee said. Micro-surfacing is an asphalt emulsion mixture that is applied as a slurry, to fill in ruts and improve traction.Lee said door hangers will be left at all homes with the project schedule. No parking will be allowed on the streets during the repair, he said.The project includes:Williams Street from Park to Ann streets;Jameson Street from Washington to Essex streets;Dick Street from Lebanon to Patterson streets;Green Street from Lebanon to Patterson streets;Walnut Street from Lebanon to Coombs streets; andAsh Street from Lebanon to Coombs streets.
