United Way launches aggressive fundraising campaign for 2012

Lebanon — An aggressive fundraising goal was announced for the Boone County United Way’s 2012 campaign at a kick-off breakfast Friday at Boone County Senior Services Inc. But campaign co-chairman Jay Randle knows the community can meet this goal.

The goal is $270,000 — the highest fundraising goal ever for Boone County United Way. The 2011 goal of $247,000, which the community met, was the highest-ever goal at that time.
