Boone County — For the 28th year, the Lebanon Rock Church will offer a Thanksgiving dinner that is free and open to the public.

“Last year, the Rock Church and 75 volunteers from the community helped prepare and serve more than 700 Thanksgiving meals,” said Rock Church Pastor Matt Skiles. In 2010, more than 650 people were served.

Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22 at the church, 504 E. Elm St., Lebanon. Meals are available for dining in, for carryout, or can be delivered, Skiles said.
