Whitestown approves new subdivision

Pulte Homes will be building a new subdivision in Whitestown along Main Street.

The Whitestown Town Council gave the approval Tuesday night to rezone the more than 100 acres on the northeast corner of Main Street and County Road 500 South from low density residential to medium density residential. Pulte will build no more than 295 lots on the property owned by the Eiteljorg family. The council voted 3-2 to rezone the property with Eric Miller and Susan Austin voting against.
