Whitestown plans huge roundabout west of I-65

Whitestown has received a $2.6 million grant from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization to construct what Town Manager Dax Norton said would be “a huge roundabout” at Indianapolis Road and Whitestown Parkway (old Indiana 334).

“It’ll be a very large, state-of-the-art roundabout,” Norton said. Pending approval of matching funds by the town council, construction of the roundabout could begin in 2016, with completion the next year.
