Multiple charges follow arrest of Zionsville man

Lebanon — Multiple charges have been filed against a man who police say smeared blood on a door at his ex-wife’s home.

William C. Moore, 45, 600 block of North Elm Street, Zionsville, was captured Tuesday morning after a brief pursuit along East Washington Street in Lebanon.

“We believe it’s his blood,” Lebanon Police Dept. Lt. Brent Wheat said. “We’d have to analyze it.”

Moore’s ex-wife, Tracy, has a court-issued protection order banning him from approaching her; he allegedly violated that order at least twice — on Sunday and Tuesday, and possibly Monday.

Moore is charged with felony residential entry, felony theft, and misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury for an incident late Sunday morning. He is initially charged with invasion of privacy for coming to the home again on Tuesday morning.
